The international campaign for solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails (Tadamun) said that re-arresting Palestinian ex-detainees who were released after deals had been reached between the Israeli authorities and prisoners or the resistance is a flagrant violation of international laws.
In a press statement on Monday Tadamun said that re-arresting the Palestinian journalist Mohammad al-Qiq by Israeli occupation forces reflects Israeli attempts to make Palestinian ex-detainees abandon anti-occupation resistance actions and accept the idea of being deported outside Palestine in case of any future swap deals.
The Tadamun activists expressed their concern over issuing administrative detention orders against the ex-detainees and called for a large-scale support campaign in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
