The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) last week prevented 63 Palestinians from traveling outside Palestine via Karameh border crossing which is considered the only crossing linking the West Bank with the outside world through Jordan.
The Palestinian Authority said in a report on Sunday that the IOA prevented 63 Palestinians from travelling abroad through Karameh crossing under the pretext of security reasons.
This data show an increase in the number of people banned from travel during the past week compared with the number of people banned from travel the week before which reached 27 Palestinians.
The Palestinian police pointed out that 43 thousand Palestinians traveled via Karameh crossing in the same period in both directions.
