A senior official from the Palestinian energy authority has revealed that the Turkish presidency will send fuel shipments for the power stations in the Gaza Strip soon.
This came during a workshop on the electricity crisis held on Saturday by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Gaza.
Deputy head of the energy authority Fathi Khalil stated during the meeting that there would be talks with the Turkish side to determine the quantities of fuel to be shipped to Gaza.
Khalil affirmed that the taxes imposed by the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah on the fuel supplies for the power plant are the reason behind the electricity crisis in Gaza.
