The Israeli army on Sunday evening set up a makeshift checkpoint on a main road leading to Dura town and al-Fawwar refugee camp southwest of al-Khalil city in the West Bank.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers intercepted cars and citizens in both directions and embarked on checking their IDs and questioning them.
The soldiers also searched passing cars and some passengers especially young men who were forced to leave vehicles and stay out in the cold for a while.
