Israeli Magistrate Court sentenced Wednesday morning a wounded Jerusalemite teenager to eight and a half years plus a fine of 10000 shekels for an alleged stabbing attack.
The 18-year-old Jerusalemite girl Marah Bakir was arrested in Oct. 2015 after being shot and injured by Israeli gunfire shortly after leaving her school.
Marah who is currently held in HaSharon prison is still suffering from the gunfire injuries.
Marah was leaving school in occupied Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood on 12 October 2015 when she was shot and injured by Israeli police her mother affirmed.
They alleged that she was holding a knife and intended to stab an officer the mother continued.
The mother firmly denied the Israeli story.
