The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) suppressed the weekly Bil’in march west of Ramallah city in the central West Bank on Friday afternoon.
Locals and international peace activists took part following Friday prayers in the march that was called for by the local popular resistance committee.
Protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans calling for Palestinian unity prisoners’ release and right of return for all Palestinian refugees.
Israeli forces violently attacked the participants once they approached the Apartheid Wall established at the expense of the town lands.
Bil’in is one of the most active Palestinian villages in peaceful organized opposition against Israeli policies as residents have protested every Friday for 12 consecutive years and have often been met with tear gas rubber-coated steel bullets and stun grenades from Israeli forces.
