Settlers vandalize cars spray racist graffiti in Beit Hanina

Thursday 20-December-2018

A gang of extrimist Jewish settlers at dawn Thursday infiltrated into a neighborhood in Beit Hanina town northeast of Occupied Jerusalem punctured tires of Palestinian cars and spray-painted racist graffiti on walls.

According to local sources settlers raided the al-Gharableh neighborhood of the town near the illegal settlement of Pisgat Zeev and sprayed anti-Arab graffiti on walls of homes.

The settlers also slashed tires of about 40 vehicles belonging to local citizens.

Such settlers’ attacks have increased in frequency in recent months.

However Israeli law enforcement authorities exhibit extreme incompetence in addressing such widespread occurrence of settlers’ crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The vast majority of investigation files regarding harm to Palestinians and their property are closed due to deliberate police failure to investigate properly. The deficiencies and flaws in the work of the Israeli police are clearly noticed at every stage of an investigation when the victim is a Palestinian citizen.
