A Palestinian anti-occupation protester on Friday morning hurled stones at an Israeli occupation soldier near Beit El illegal settlement built on Palestinian lands in al-Bireh in the central West Bank.
An Israeli military spokesman claimed a soldier was moderately wounded following clashes with an unarmed Palestinian youth who crept into a military barrack near Beit El outpost and threw stones at the soldier from a close range.
The soldier was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
The occupation army continues to scour West Bank alleyways in the hunt for the alleged anti-occupation stone attacker.
