A number of Palestinians were injured Thursday afternoon as dozens of Israeli settlers attacked their homes south of the northern occupied West Bank district of Nablus.
The Mayor of Asira al-Qibliya village south of the Nablus district said that dozens of settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Yizthar attacked Palestinian homes under Israeli army protection.
Violent clashes broke out following the attack where teargas bombs and rubber bullets were heavily fired by Israeli soldiers.
He confirmed that the clashes led to dozens of Palestinians suffering from tear-gas inhalation.
A similar attack was carried out in the nearby town of Hawwar where settlers stoned Palestinian vehicles on the roads.
Settler rampages have reached several vulnerable villages in the north center and south of the West Bank said reports.
