A Palestinian parliamentary delegation led by MP Mahmoud al-Zahhar ended a six-day visit to Lebanon as part of a foreign tour intended to mobilize international support for the Palestinian cause.
The parliamentary delegation had visited Turkey last month as part of the tour. It also visited South Africa before flying to Lebanon.
MP Mushir al-Masri stated in press remarks that the delegation had made a great achievement during its visit to Lebanon and its meetings with Lebanese leaders and heads of political parties and parliamentary blocs.
Masri added that the delegation met with Lebanese president Michel Aoun parliament speaker Nabih Berri and premier Saad al-Hariri.
The Palestinian lawmaker hailed the supportive positions of the Lebanese leadership and people towards the Palestinian cause affirming that the Palestinian delegation had the chance to brief the Lebanese side on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and the challenges facing the national cause.
