The Palestinian prisoner Umar Karakrah from Bethlehem was subjected to tough investigation for nearly a month in Maskoubia detention center.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) affirmed that Karakrah has been subjected to severe torture in Maskoubia since his arrest on November 11.

During the investigation Karakrah was exposed to inhuman and degrading treatment physical torture and sleep deprivation the PPS lawyer said.

The torture was continued for 22 hours per day he added.

Karakrah’s detention was extended for four consecutive times since his detention.

The Palestinian prisoner Shadi Abu Afifa from al-Khalil was subjected to tough investigation for more than a month in Maskoubia detention center.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) affirmed Tuesday after one of its lawyers finally was able to visit Abu Afifa that he was subjected to severe torture in Maskoubia for 39 continuous days.

The prisoner was also denied lawyer visits since his arrest on Nov. 23 2016.

During the investigation Abu Afifa was exposed to inhuman and degrading treatment physical torture and sleep deprivation the lawyer said adding that he suffered different health complications as a result including sharp head pains and psychological problems.
