The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) resumed on Saturday construction activities on annexed Palestinian land in Bruqin town west of Salfit in the West Bank in order to expand the illegal settlement of Brukhin.
According to eyewitnesses Israeli bulldozers embarked on leveling a vast tract of land in Bruqin and the nearby village of Sarta in western Salfit in order to prepare the area for the building of more housing units and infrastructure projects.
According to Palestinian land researcher Khalid Ma’ali Israel’s settlement expansion activisits are in full swing in the villages and towns of Salfit province.
There are 25 Israeli settlements stretching over seized lands belonging to 18 Palestinian residential communities in Salfit.
