A number of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in predawn abduction sweeps rocking the occupied Palestinian territories.
The IOF rolled into Bethlehem province and kidnapped a number of Palestinian civilians among them the child Hesham Maher Taqatqa.
The IOF also stormed Nablus and kidnapped a number of Palestinian youths. Clashes burst out shortly after the occupation forces showed up in the area and attacked civilians with randomly-shot spates of teargas.
Overnight violent clashes flared up in Sebastiya northwest of Nablus after Israeli patrols raided the area and terrorized civilians.
At the same time the IOF wreaked havoc on civilian homes in al-Qubeiba village northwest of occupied Jerusalem and ransacked the homes of Palestinian ex-prisoners in Jabal al-Mukabbir.
The assault culminated in the abduction of Jerusalem’s governor Adnan Gheith from his family home in Silwan town.
Another Palestinian citizen was kidnapped by the IOF from his home in Beit Kad town east of Jenin.
A set of military checkpoints was meanwhile pitched by Israeli soldiers on the Tulkarem-Balaa thoroughfare where Palestinian civilians and vehicles have been subjected to exhaustive inspection.
