A Palestinian youth died on Tuesday afternoon from wounds he sustained when he was shot by the Israeli police in Jerusalem last week.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that the Israeli police shot Abdulrahman Abu Jamal 17 at a police center in Jabal al-Mukabber village for allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack.
Abu Jamal’s family said that their lawyer informed them that their detained son died at an Israeli hospital in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
The Israeli police claimed that five policemen suffered different injuries in the attack.
The Israeli police on Thursday arrested Abu Jamal’s family and released them later after searching their house and wreaking havoc on it in preparation for its demolition.
