The Palestinian Information Center (PIC ) said in a statement on Tuesday that the deadly air strikes carried out by the Israeli army including the one targeting the office of the Aqsa TV Channel will not succeed in silencing anti-occupation voices.
PIC said Israel’s air raid on the office of al-Aqsa TV Channel reflects the inherently terrorist nature of the Israeli occupation.
PIC said such attacks aim at suppressing anti-Israel media and preventing authentic coverage of Israeli crimes.
“The attack on al-Aqsa TV Channel’s office is a barbaric attack and a sign that Israel has crossed all red lines” PIC’s statement read.
“The fact that the channel resumed live broadcast minutes following the attack is a sign of Palestinians’ strong determination and commitment to transmit Israel’s crimes to the world” it added.
PIC called on the International Press Federation to take urge actions so as to pressurize the Israeli occupation to cease its terrorism against journalists and innocent civilians.
