The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning laid siege to different areas of Tulkarem in the north of the West Bank and carried out raids on homes in search for Ashraf Na’alwa a young man wanted for killing two settlers recently.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the IOF closed the entrances to the towns or villages of Bal’a Bizzariya Jibara Shufa Annab Kafr al-Labad Deir al-Ghusun and Attil and carried out a widespread search for Na’alwa.
The IOF also stormed al-Jarushiya village and the neighborhood of Al Hasan Ali in Tulkarem and broke into and ransacked several homes.
A large number of homes were also raided during an IOF campaign in Arrashid neighborhood in Danaba suburb and the area between Danaba and Kafr al-Labad. Agricultural structures were also searched by the IOF in nearby areas.
