A senior security delegation has entered the blockaded Gaza Strip on Tuesday through the Israeli-controlled Beit Hanun border-crossing.
Maher Abu Ouf from the Crossings and Borders Department said senior intelligence Egyptian officers Ahmad Abdul Khalek and Hamam Abu Zeid arrived in the enclave in the morning.
The delegation is expected to meet with Hamas leaders over a projected truce with the Israeli occupation and to carry out talks about national reconciliation.
Such two delegations popped in the enclave this month following a military escalation by the Israeli occupation against the besieged costal enclave and the murder of three children.
