Violent clashes broke out on Sunday evening between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Palestinian citizens in Azzun town east of Qalqilya.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that several IOF patrols stormed Azzun town and closed its main entrance while the Palestinian youths responded by throwing stones and Molotov cocktails.
Meanwhile the IOF tightened restrictions at military checkpoints west of Tulkarem city and searched Palestinian vehicles and passengers causing a traffic jam in the area.
