The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening stormed Beit Lid town east of Tulkarem closed Shoufeh checkpoint and blocked the Palestinian citizens’ movement.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF closed Shoufeh checkpoint stopped the Palestinian citizens leaving Tulkarem and interrogated them.
The IOF launched a military operation in Beit Lid town in search for a Palestinian young man accused of carrying out an anti-occupation shooting attack last week.
According to the sources the IOF raided dozens of Palestinian houses and interrogated their residents.
In another context Israel’ Salem military court in Jenin on Sunday decided to extend the detention of the Palestinian suspect’s sister Fairouz Na’alweh who was arrested several days ago for 12 days pending investigation.
