The Palestinian prisoner Mus’ab Akef Ashtiyeh stopped taking medication for the fourth consecutive week in protest against his renewed administrative detention.
Ashtiyeh’s father expressed deep concern over his son’s health situation as he suffers from hyperthyroidism and high blood pressure.
Ashtiyeh 26 has stopped taking his medication since September 13 after being moved to Petah Tikva investigation center.
He was detained four times in Israeli jails where he spent more than three years. His last arrest was 14 months ago.
He started suffering health problems since his second arrest his father underlined.
