Israeli occupation bans travel of 8 Palestinians via Karama crossing

The Israeli occupation authorities on Saturday prevented eight Palestinian civilians from travelling through the Karama border crossing with Jordan under the security guise.

The General Administration of Crossings and Borders said in a Sunday statement that 3151 Palestinians managed to pass through both sides of the crossing on Saturday. Eight others were banned from crossing the terminal.

1409 Palestinians also left the occupied Palestinian territories through the crossing and 1742 others arrived in the territory.

The Karama border-crossing is scheduled to operate on Sunday from 08:00 a.m. to 09:30 p.m. in both directions.

The Israeli occupation authorities prevented on Saturday eight Palestinian civilians from travelling through the Karama border crossing with Jordan under the security guise.

The General Administration of Crossings and Borders said in a Sunday statement that 5408 Palestinians managed to pass through both sides of the crossing on Saturday. Eight passengers were however banned from crossing the terminal.

The same source added that 2657 Palestinians left the occupied Palestinian territories through the crossing and 2751 others arrived in the territory.

The Karama border-crossing is scheduled to operate on Sunday for 24 hours on both sides.
