The Israeli occupation forces closed on Sunday the iron gate set up at the entrance to al-Laban al-Sharkiya village south of Nablus.
Head of the al-Laban al-Sharkiya village council Samer Aweis said the Israeli military sealed off the main entrance to the area denying Palestinians free access into and outside of the village.
Heavily-armed Israeli patrols have been deployed at the main thoroughfare and near the local secondary school.
Palestinians passing through the area have been subjected to crackdowns and provocative inspection by the occupation soldiers.
