Palestinian factions have agreed to announce a general strike in the West Bank on Monday.
They said in a statement issued on Saturday that the strike is a protest step against Israel’s Jewish nation-state law which would pave the way for the Deal of the Century which is aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause.
They noted that the strike includes all sectors: civil society institutions universities schools and shops.
Palestinian national and Islamic factions in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories also announced a commercial strike on Monday that excludes government institutions universities and schools.
