The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) has intensified its presence and set up several checkpoints in West Bank areas north of Ramallah.
According to local sources the Israeli army set up roadblocks at the main entrance to Jalazoun refugee camp in northern Ramallah after it claimed its forces came under gunfire attack in a nearby area on Friday.
The sources told Quds Press that Israeli soldiers started to deploy barriers on the road to Jalazoun camp on Friday evening.
They added that the IOF intercepted and searched all Palestinian vehicles leaving or entering the camp and detained some young passengers for long hours.
