Palestinian prisoner Salah Jawarish from Bethlehem started an open-ended hunger strike in protest at the Israeli decision to extend his administrative detention on day before his release.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) Jawarish was arrested on November 30 2017 and has been since then in administrative detention. He is now in Ofer jail.
Israeli jailers had already renewed his administrative detention terms several times.
