Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by soldiers on Tuesday night swarmed an archeological area in al-Khalil and stayed there until an early hour in the morning.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that a large number of Israeli troops stormed Bir Haram al-Rama area before midnight before buses currying settlers from illegal settlements in al-Khalil and Bethlehem entered the area for rituals.
Meanwhile the IOF prevented Palestinian vehicles from using nearby roads and searched them.
Local residents in the area were also barred from leaving their homes during the presence of settlers.
This was the second time during the current month settlers stormed the same area under military protection for rituals.
