RAFAH (PIC)- The Palestinian fisherman Hamdan Mohammed Barhum was pronounced dead on Thursday morning after eight days of admission into the European Hospital south of the Gaza Strip after IOF gunboats fired at a group of fishermen off the Rafah coast.
Medical sources said that Barhum 24 was one of three fishermen fishing off the coast in a boat when the IOF gunboat fired a projectile at them directly hitting the fishing boat.
They said that two of them including Barhum were critically wounded while the third was moderately injured.
Barhum underwent a complicated surgery and remained in ICU until his martyrdom.
