Israeli occupation authorities have declared closure on the West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip starting Tuesday night until late Wednesday for Yom Kippur Jewish holiday.
Israel said that Karam Abu Salem and Beit Hanoun crossings will be closed starting Tuesday morning only allowing passage for humanitarian and urgent medical cases holding special permits.
As for al-Karama crossing between the West Bank and Jordan it will operate on Tuesday until 8:30 am then will remain closed until late Wednesday.
Israel will be imposing another closure on the West Bank and Gaza for the upcoming Jewish holiday of Sukkot closing all crossings from Saturday’s midnight 22nd September until Monday 1st October.
Furthermore Gaza crossings were closed for three days last week as Israelis were celebrating the new Hebrew year.
