Palestinians injured during settler raid into Nablus

Monday 17-September-2018

A number of Palestinians including two paramedics were injured at dawn Monday during clashes in the vicinity of Joseph Tomb east of Nablus city when hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed the area.

Several sources told the PIC reporter that the paramedics Jarir Qanadilo and Ameer al-Bezra were wounded by live ammunition while providing first aid to injured Palestinian citizens during the clashes.

Hundreds of Israeli settlers at daybreak broke into Joseph Tomb while escorted by a large Israeli military force.

Palestinians living in the eastern area of Nablus said that the settlers harassed them and chanted racist slogans against Arabs and Palestinians during the raid.

Israeli soldiers accompanying the settlers attacked protesting Palestinians with live ammunition and teargas canisters.
