The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening kidnapped an 11-year-old Palestinian child near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.
Local sources said an Israeli patrol stopped the Palestinian child Ahmed al-Awawda and detained him without identifying the reasons for the measure.
The Israeli military claimed the child was carrying a knife and attempted to stab soldiers.
The child was dragged to a detention center in Israel’s illegal settlement outpost of Kiryat Arba.
