Arrests reported during IOF raids

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Thursday a number of Palestinians during fresh raids in a number of towns in the West Bank.

Israeli army claimed that 12 “wanted” Palestinians were rounded up for being allegedly involved in anti-occupation activities.

Weapons were allegedly found during the IOF raid into Beitunia village according to the Israeli army.

In Ramallah Israeli forces stormed and violently searched a number of houses in Mughir town while three youths including two brothers were kidnapped from their houses in Beit Rima town.

Two more arrests were carried out in Deir Abu Mish’al and Ni’lin towns west of the city.

In Jenin Israeli forces stormed several towns west of the city where they erected a number of military checkpoints restricting locals’ movement. At least one young man was arrested.

Meanwhile five Palestinians were arrested in al-Khalil district while several homes were stormed and searched. Others were summoned for investigation.
