The Israeli security cabinet is slated to convene for a special meeting Sunday afternoon to resume deliberations over having a blanket ceasefire agreement with the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to the Hebrew media today’s meeting will be a follow-on to four meetings held before to agree on a formula for a long-lasting truce in Gaza.
The latest military and security developments on the northern border with Lebanon and Syria will be tabled during the same meeting.
