The Israeli occupation authorities approved the constructing of 106 new housing units in the illegal Israeli settlement of Efrat to the south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
Activist Hasan Breijieh from the local anti-settlement commission said the occupation authorities okayed the move at the expense of Palestinian farmers and landowners who have been growing crops and cultivating lands in the area.
He added that the Palestinian landowners caught sight of the military orders after they were dropped by Israeli soldiers on their land.
