The Palestinian Health Ministry is Gaza has reported that %80 of cancer medications in the besieged coastal region have depleted an issue that poses imminent threats to the lives of the patients.
the Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that the Rantisi specialized hospital which deals with cancer patients has run out of essential drugs.
The hospital’s director doctor Mohamed Au Salmiyeh said Neupogen drug which is essential for the immunity systems of the patients has run out adding that treatment has been almost suspended.
The doctor warned that the lives of hundreds of cancer patients in the Gaza Strip are at a real risk as a result of the current drug crisis.
Several patients have been denied urgent medical referrals by the Israeli occupation authorities banning them from receiving urgent therapy outside of the besieged enclave. Such a situation poses serious risks to their lives and causes more pain and grief for the patients and and their families.
