Hebrew TV channel 14 reported that the Freedom Flotilla vessels which were attacked by the Israeli navy while on their way to break the siege on Gaza Sunday will not be returned to their owners.
The TV channel said that the vessels will be confiscated and handed to Israeli organizations.
The International Committee for Breaking the Siege on Gaza earlier announced that the Israeli navy took over the Freedom Flotilla ships that were heading to Gaza and arrested all activists on board.
The Committee called on the countries that have nationals on the ships to intervene and pressure Israel to release them and added that the legal committee and the lawyers of Freedom Flotilla will do everything necessary to ensure their safety.
It also called on international human rights organizations to push Israel to allow the entry of medicines and other medical supplies carried on the boats into the Gaza Strip.
Freedom Flotilla had 36 solidarity activists from 15 countries on board in addition to journalists working for al-Jazeera and Press TV.
