Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan has described the US-backed deal of the century as “a Zionist conspiracy against the Muslim nation” affirming that his Movement will prevent the execution of this deal.
Hamdan made his remarks as he was addressing the third African Jerusalem Summit which kicked off on Saturday in the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott.
He underscored that the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza would not allow the deal of the century to take place or succeed under any circumstances describing it as an amendment to the Sykes-Picot map.
The Hamas official stressed the need for serious action by the Muslim nation to confront and frustrate all attempt to Judaize and seize Jerusalem the eternal capital of Palestine.
Hamdan urged the participants in the summit to necessarily work on activating the boycott campaigns against Israel throughout the African continent and making serious efforts to lift the blockade on Gaza.
