Israeli soldiers on Thursday opened heavy machine gunfire on a Palestinian riding on a motorcycle east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza Strip.
Eye-witnesses said a motorcycle went up in flames after Israeli soldiers stationed at a military site near a garbage dump in Deir Balah hit a motorcycle with machinegun. The driver managed to run away.
Civilians farmers and fishermen in the blockaded Gaza Strip have ceaselessly been targeted by Israeli patrols stationed near the border fence. Heavy material damage is often wrought by such attacks.
