Muslim guards at the Aqsa Mosque thwarted on Sunday morning sacrilegious rituals that were about to be performed by Israeli settlers at the site.
The settlers performed Talmudic rituals outside the Aqsa Mosque under a heavy police shield.
Earlier in the day dozens of Israeli settlers escorted by policemen stormed holy al-Aqsa Mosque via the Maghareba Gate.
