Several Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces at daybreak Tuesday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank.
Scores of Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers who raided the northern West Bank city of Nablus to secure a break-in into Joseph’s Tomb by Israeli fanatics.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent a boy was and shot and injured with live ammunition in his shoulder after Israeli soldiers opened fire at his car. He was transferred to the Rafidia Hospital. At least 17 young men sustained rubber bullet wounds and dozens more choked on teargas.
The IOF also detained two Palestinian young men from the Balata refugee camp for hours and wreaked havoc on civilian homes before they kidnapped two Palestinians.
At the same time the IOF cracked down on Palestinians east of Qalqilya province and subjected them to exhaustive questioning.
Israeli patrols also stormed the Nour Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem in the northern occupied West Bank sparking clashes with anti-occupation youth.
The IOF reportedly ransacked Palestinian homes near Abu Ubaida Mosque.
Heavily-armed Israeli soldiers showed up meanwhile around Kiryat Arba settlement outpost built on Palestinian lands in al-Khalil on allegations that a Palestinian anti-occupation attacker infiltrated the area.
The occupation forces rummaged into Palestinian homes in the area in the hunt for the alleged suspect.
Light aircrafts were flown by the Israeli military in the hunt for the wanted person before it turned out that the infiltrator was an Israeli settler.
At the early morning hours Israeli soldiers set up a flying checkpoint southeast of al-Khalil where Palestinian vehicles and drivers have been intensively inspected.
