The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Friday kidnapped three Palestinian young men and interrogated others during raids in Barta’a al-Gharbiya town west of Jenin in the West Bank.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the young men were rounded up by soldiers during an IOF campaign in the industrial area of Barta’a.
The detainees who are from towns in Jenin and Tulkarem and work in the industrial area were handcuffed and bundled into a military vehicle according to the sources.
The sources however did not say why they had been arrested.
A large number of Israeli troops were also deployed in the industrial area and on the main road of the town where they embarked on intercepting Palestinian vehicles and interrogating citizens.
