The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday arrested a Palestinian young man after hitting him with a military vehicle claiming he opened fire at soldiers west of Bethlehem.
According to the Hebrew media border police officers arrested a young man in his 20s after he fired shots at a checkpoint west of Bethlehem at 02:30 am.
The young man was slightly injured after he was chased and rammed by a military vehicle.
The IOF said the detainee which was identified as a resident of Beit Sahour town near Bethlehem was found in possession of a handgun and knife.
