Palestinian young men on Monday night targeted an Israeli military watchtower in Azzun town east of Qalqilya city in the occupied West Bank with homemade firebombs.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that a military observation point in al-Mintar area of Azzun town caught fire after it was attacked with homemade explosive devices or Molotov cocktails.
Consequently the Israeli occupation army closed the area and set up checkpoints at the entrances to the town.
A teenager called Majd Inaya was also kidnapped by soldiers from his home in the town. It is not known if his detention is related to the attack on the military post.
