Palestinian and Turkish citizens visit al-Khalil and Ibrahimi Mosque

Sunday 6-May-2018

Palestinian and Turkish citizens aboard 21 buses on Saturday visited the Old City of al-Khalil and the Ibrahimi Mosque as part of efforts aimed at supporting the steadfastness of the local residents against Israel’s aggression and Judaization.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that hundreds of Muslims came from the 1948 occupied lands and Turkey to the Old City of al-Khalil and the Ibrahimi Mosque pointing out that Israeli soldiers tried to prevent them from entering the Mosque which is defiled intensively by Jewish settlers on Saturdays but upon the insistence of visitors the soldiers allowed them in.

The trip was organized by the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands to support the steadfastness of al-Khalil residents.

150 citizens from Turkey were among those who visited the Old City and saw the historic landmarks that were built under the Ottoman rule.
