The High Coordination Committee of the Great March of Return called for a large-scale participation in the protests set to be staged on Friday to speak up for the rights of Palestinian workers and denounce the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.
Member of the committee Mohamed al-Harazeen said in a statement that the projected event aims to pay tribute to the oppressed Palestinian workers.
Friday’s projected events are slated to kick-start at 03:30 p.m. and be wrapped up at around 07:00 p.m.
Al-Harazeen hailed the Great March of Return protests which he said signal a historic stopover in Palestinians’ anti-occupation struggle.
He added that the protests will reach their peak on May 15 and that the Palestinians will keep up their struggle until the liberation of their land sees the day.
“The protests have struck the Israelis with horror” he said referring to the damage wrought by kites fired by Palestinian anti-occupation youth toward Israeli settlements illegally built on usurped Palestinian land near Gaza’s border.
