The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning blocked a Palestinian agricultural road in al-Khader town west of Bethlehem in the central West Bank with no reason.
A Palestinian official from the town told WAFA news agency that Israeli soldiers closed with rocks the main road leading to the Shawshahla hamlet near al-Khader town.
He said that several farmers with their vehicles became stranded and unable to leave the village adding that this measure would prevent local farmers from reaching to vast tracts of their agricultural land in the areas of Daher al-Ziyah Ein al-Qasis and al-Hadaf.
He expressed his belief that the measure was aimed at forcing the Palestinians to leave the small village which was revived recently and to annex more Palestinian lands for settlement construction.
