A Palestinian man was seriously injured on Saturday evening in a large-scale clashes that erupted in Kafr Qaddum town east of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that Walid Barham 55 was shot by Israeli gunfire in the head while Israeli occupation forces showered protesters with heavy shooting.
Murad Eshtaiwi coordinator of popular resistance in Kafr Qaddum said in a press statement that Israeli Special Forces set up an ambush to the Palestinians between olive trees. The Israeli forces then fired at the protesters from a close distance resulting in the injury of Barham after which he was transferred to hospital.
