Head of Hamas Movement in Gaza Yahya al-Sinwar stated on Friday evening that the fact that thousands of Palestinians participate in the return marches proves the Palestinian adherence to the right of return “for which we are working hard to achieve” he said.
Upon his arrival at al-Awdah camp east of al-Buraij in Central Gaza Sinwar said “The march of return is going to persist until the achievement of the goals of the Palestinian people and breaking the siege”.
Earlier on Friday thousands of Palestinians headed to al-Awda camps erected in five locations along the eastern border of Gaza. Al-Awda camps are erected 500 meters far from the security fence that separates Gaza from 1948 Occupied Palestine.
