Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday morning arrested a guard at Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam—and summoned others to questioning.
The guard was identified as Arafat Najeeb arrested on his way to the mosque via the Hitta Gate.
At the same time Israeli intelligence issued interrogation writs against four other members of al-Aqsa’s supervision staff.
Hamza al-Nabali Luay Abu al-Saad Khalil al-Tarhouni and Fadi Alyan were all summoned to questioning at the Qishleh detention center in Occupied Jerusalem’s Old City.
