The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Sunday arrested nine Palestinian citizens during West Bank campaigns.
Hebrew media sources claimed that the detainees are involved in anti-Israel activities.
The IOF arrested two Palestinian youths identified as Mu’tasem al-Arouj and Wisam Abu Basma after breaking into their houses in Bethlehem city.
Sporadic confrontations broke out in Manger Square in central Bethlehem between Palestinian citizens and the IOF soldiers.
Meanwhile in al-Khalil an Israeli military force raided Doura town searched a metal workshop and a number of Palestinian houses.
The IOF at night Saturday arrested five Palestinian youths south of Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that the IOF erected a temporary checkpoint at the northern entrance to Madama town and arrested Diaa Qadous after detaining the vehicle he was travelling in for several hours.
In a related context four Palestinian youths were arrested near Huwara town and transferred for interrogation by the Shin Bet the Israeli army announced.
