The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday evening obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles and passengers at the eastern entrance to Qalqilya city north of the West Bank and maltreated citizens.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers closed the eastern entrance of Qalqilya intercepted and searched passing vehicles and passengers and checked IDs.
They added that the soldiers interrogated several young citizens at this makeshift checkpoint without making arrests.
The IOF routinely sets up roadblocks or checkpoints in the same area as part of Israel’s daily movement restrictions imposed on the Palestinians in the West Bank.
